DON'T LOSE FELLOWSHIP

August 4, 2016   One of the most controversial subjects in the Christian world is the question of salvation. Some people believe that you've been forgiven of all sins right up until you ask Jesus to be your Saviour, but from that time on it's up to you to stay "saved". BOOTS ON THE GROUND!

August 4, 2016

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As we pointed out in last week's newsletter, we are experiencing what Jesus described would happen when His disciples asked, "Tell us Master, when will these take place?" His answer was to them as His disciples, as the early church, and he was speaking to us now, as well.

He said that we should expect these things to happen. It can be difficult to look at the whirlwind of evil, the apostasy, the deceptions, and not be concerned. But, He told us these things would happen so that we would be at peace.

We are most powerful when we are on our knees. These are times when we must draw close to the Lord, spend more time in His Word, in prayer; seeking His will for us, seeking protection, and in worship. We must not allow the many distractions to take precedent over Him. We could have been born at any time, in any century. But, our Heavenly Father chose that we should be here at this time-for such a time as this. Let us focus on the race, on the finish line.

Pray like you never have. Pray for the lost, for your family, for your friends, for those who turned away from the Lord to turn back. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Pray fervently! And, we know time is short. Make each day we have left to count for the Kingdom of God. Tell others about Jesus, how He wishes no one to perish. Let us be about our Father's business.

May the Lord bless you and keep you in all your ways. May He look upon you and be gracious to you. May He lift up His Countenance upon you and give you peace as only He can give.

Watch! Pray! Occupy!
